The Tarot of Hope is a project by Bureau d’Espoir, a long term research project on hope, initiated by Elke Van Campenhout. BdE researches the possibility for a new engagement with the concept of hope, on a political, social, physical and spiritual level.
The Tarot of Hope looked for a tactile and fresh design approach which is inviting and enjoyable to use. A portable, easy-to-use booklet was conceived with a colour scheme guiding through the Major and Minor Arcana enveloped in a printed cotton bag to hold the cards and book together.
