About
daretoknow (sapere aude) is a design practice led by Miriam Hempel and engages within the realms of the socio-political and the cultural field.
Through conceiving and developing visual identities, as well as design and layout for both print and web, Miriam aims to create bridges between institutions and people, between activities and their audience, between artistic and activist thinking and the aesthetic requirements of these fields.
Miriam finished her studies at Chelsea College of Art and Design and Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London where she lived and worked for 11 years. Currently she is studying at Zurich University of the Arts, Zurich, Switzerland.
On a volunteer basis, she assists people with migration background, be it on a practical level such as housing, medical and legal questions as well as the organisation of cultural events with and for refugees.
